Retired/Former FBI Agents in SUPPORT of KASH PATEL
December 20, 2024
United States Senate
Washington, D. C. 20510
Honorable United States Senators:
We, the undersigned retired or former Special Agents of the FBI, urge you to vote to confirm Kash Patel, President Trump’s nominee for FBI Director.
The voters have spoken. They elected Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. You have before you a nominee who has held high-ranking positions in intelligence and defense agencies, a nominee with criminal prosecution and agency management experience. His rock-solid credentials have led nationally respected organizations such as Veterans for America First and the National Police Association to endorse him. President Trump chose Kash Patel for Patel’s resolve to institute badly needed reforms at the FBI. The American people have lost faith in this once-respected institution. The next Director will need to immediately address the failures in leadership and gross abuses that have undermined morale, reduced effectiveness, and compromised the vital mission of the Bureau, including:
For generations, the FBI enjoyed a well-deserved reputation as the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, but that reputation has been badly tarnished in recent years. We, therefore, urge you to quickly confirm Kash Patel, President Trump’s well-qualified pick to bring accountability back to the Bureau, win back the trust and respect of the American people, and restore the former luster of the FBI in accordance with its motto: Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity."
Respectfully submitted.

The next Director will need to immediately address the failures in leadership and gross abuses that have undermined morale, reduced effectiveness, and compromised the vital mission of the Bureau, including:
- Failing to implement the recommendations of the February 3, 2011 "Ticking Time Bomb" Report of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Senator Joseph Lieberman, Chairman, subsequent to the 2009 Jihadi attack at Fort Hood, TX, by Major Nidal Hassan.
- Conducting "outreach" to and the aiding and abetting of subversive self-admitted enemies of Western Civilization, who seek to implement foreign law, in violation of Article 6 of the U. S. Constitution.
- Removing the religious doctrinal underpinnings of Islamic Jihad from FBI training materials.
- Weaponizing the FBI against political enemies of the current administration.
- Conspiring/colluding with social media entities to censor patriotic conservative voices, as well as obfuscating the legitimacy of the Hunter Biden laptop computer.
- Kneeling in support of and submitting to the self-avowed Marxists of Black Lives Matter.
- Filing false affidavits in the FISA court in unlawful attempts to unseat a duly elected President.
- Deploying FBI SWAT teams in unwarranted shows-of-force befitting Communist-controlled countries.
- Socially engineering the Bureau through such divisive programs as DEI and LGBTQ pride.
- Retaliating against patriotic and brave FBI whistleblowers.
